Sustaining the life and ministry of our church.
Gifts to the General Fund support the ongoing mission and daily operations of Christ United Methodist Church. These donations allow us to maintain our facilities, support pastoral leadership, and cover essential expenses that keep our church active, welcoming, and faithful in ministry.
The General Fund also provides flexibility, allowing resources to be directed toward special projects and mission needs as they arise. This fund is the foundation that enables all other ministries to thrive.
Caring for the spaces where ministry happens.
The Building Fund supports the ongoing upkeep, renovation, and repair of our non-sanctuary facilities, as well as non-restoration repairs within the sanctuary. Our Sunday School classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and Fellowship Hall—constructed between 1947 and 1957—remain vital spaces for education, fellowship, and community outreach.
Contributions to this fund help ensure our church facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all who gather here.
Protecting the ministry beneath it.
The Roof Fund is designated specifically for the repair and replacement of the roof over the Fellowship Hall. This project is essential to preserving the building that hosts fellowship meals, ministry gatherings, outreach events, and community use.
A sound roof protects not only the structure itself, but the ministries and people who gather within it. Gifts to the Roof Fund directly support this critical repair and help safeguard these shared spaces for years to come.
Preserving our sacred and historic sanctuary.
The Restoration Fund is designated exclusively for the restoration of the sanctuary, including the repair and preservation of our stained glass windows and the re-pointing of the sanctuary structure.
This historic building stands as a testament to faith, craftsmanship, and generations of worship. Your support helps preserve its beauty and integrity so it may continue to serve future generations. Those interested in sponsoring a stained glass window are encouraged to contact the church for more information.
Feeding our neighbors with dignity and care.
Through the Homebound Ministry, Christ United Methodist Church partners with local organizations to provide and deliver weekly food boxes to more than 40 households in our area.
This ongoing outreach meets a critical need in our community, and donations are always welcome. There is a continual demand for resources, and every contribution helps ensure that our neighbors receive nourishment, care, and connection.
Investing in the faith of our children.
The Fill the Chairs Campaign invites you to sponsor one of our refurbished vintage Sunday School chairs in honor or memory of a loved one. These 60 chairs—sized for toddlers, elementary children, and teens—represent our commitment to providing nurturing, faith-filled environments for children of all ages.
A commemorative plaque will be affixed to each sponsored chair for a donation of $50, $60, or $75, depending on size.
All proceeds directly support Children’s Ministry programs and facilities, helping us welcome and disciple the next generation.
Responding with compassion in times of need.
The Helping Hands Emergency Fund provides short-term assistance to individuals and families facing unexpected hardships. Funds are typically used for essentials such as food, gas, and other immediate needs through gift cards or similar aid.
This ministry is supported entirely through direct donations, and assistance is available as funds allow. Your generosity enables the church to respond quickly and compassionately when needs arise in our community.
Extending hope beyond our walls.
Founded in 1908, Residing Hope continues a long tradition of serving vulnerable children and families across Florida. With campuses in Enterprise and Pinetta, the organization provides therapeutic residential care, independent living programs for youth aging out of care, licensed foster homes, outpatient counseling, and spiritual life programs.
Christ United Methodist Church is a committed partner in this mission. Fifth Sunday offerings are designated as over-tithe contributions to Residing Hope, supporting life-changing work that brings stability, healing, and hope to children in need.
